Despite all the spinning being done to provide cover for Hillary Clinton over her self inflicted email scandal, the facts do not appear to be lining up behind her cockamamie stories of why and how she used her own private email server for all her email, both private and government emails. It just never passed the smell test as told by Hillary or her spins masters James Carville, Lanny Davis, et al. Now comes this from a former Freedom Of Information Act administrator.Writing at Politico, 30-year Justice Department veteran and former Freedom of Information Act overseer Dan Metcalfe pronounces Hillary Clinton’s excuses for her private email server “laughable,” taking particular care to distinguish between the occasional use of private mail by government officials and Clinton’s unbelievably brazen scheme to route all of her official correspondence through a secret box where data could be deleted at her whim ...
Hillary wants the world to believe everything she has said about the private email server and that she did everything within the law. This is where Hillary can expect to find more than just a rocky road going forward. Like a magician, Hillary has tried to use deception and misdirection to draw attention away from the facts and the controlling law as she points to other Secretaries of State and their email practices. Hillary claims she did nothing different than just about any of her predecessors. That could not be farther from the truth and with each passing day we find more revelations that seem to be destroying every excuse and alibi Hillary has gone public with to excuse what is looking more and more like a trail to criminal liability. This can not bode well for Hillary's presidential bid and it has some Democrats seriously questioning whether Hillary can escape this scandal without being permanently damaged politically.
