Donald simply can't face the fact or tell the truth about his poor performance in Colorado. Thank goodness we have sharp people on Twitter to help him out:
Unfortunately, he's making a huge issue of his incompetence in the ground game aspect of the 2016 Republican primary election. For people looking with a critical eye, it is unbelievable to hear a candidate to bitch and moan about unfairness in a process for which he is failing to be successful.Believe me, I screwed up in Colorado, I can tell you, but you uneducated people who I love, you should protest anyway! #ShorterTrump— TheFOO (@PolitiBunny) April 14, 2016
In other words, when the rules benefit the frontrunner - crickets. When they don't, scream about how the nomination process is so broken and unfair. So, since Donald goofed, he has to fire up his base and send them to Colorado to pitch a fit:The GOP Establishment in Colorado knew I'll win & that's why they set up these rules against me back in 1912. Very unfair! @realDonaldTrump— DonaId J. Trump (@realDenaldTrump) April 14, 2016
Big protest march in Colorado on Friday afternoon! Don't let the bosses take your vote!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 14, 2016
Trump voters mass protest tomorrow (Friday) April 15th, 3PM, west steps of Colorado State Capitol Bldg, 200 E. Colfax Ave Denver RETWEET— Lee's Kid (@bluestarwindow) April 14, 2016
FYI to Trump and his supporters: America was formed as a republic and not a mob-rule democracy for a reason. Voters determine in their district who delegates will be. Trump needed to participate in this process. He simply did not."Big protest march in Colorado on Friday afternoon! We live in a representative government. The Founders set up the electoral college by design, having seen nations fall via mob-rule democracy. Trump did not manage this process well which is proving why he is not the best choice to secure the nomination and battle Clinton or Sanders with the goal of taking back our country and making America strong again.
Cruz did his homework, learned the intricacies of all state delegate rules, and fought to win them. Cruz has known for awhile now that the nomination could very well be won at a contested convention and has been preparing his strategy to win a majority of the delegates. Trump has not. FYI - the "best brain and words" candidate just yesterday hired a political director for California.
If Cruz wins the Republican nomination, it will be because he worked extremely hard and crafted a brilliant campaign strategy. If Trump loses at the convention, it will be because he ran a lazy campaign, relying on his high name recognition and his ability to turn any situation into a cheesy reality show.
