Walmart: "We Have Your Rebel Class Ring, You want it, Paid for it, but You can't Have it."

Once again, we have Walmart screwing yet another customer out of a Rebel Mascot (with unrecognizable Confederate flag) Class Ring, but this one has a twist.

The Walmart Store in Fort Smith, Arkansas had made the announcement in June that they would no longer be selling anything with the rebel flag.

Well, that's all fine and good, but Elaine Glidewell ordered and paid for her nephew's class ring in May, long before the "no-sell" date had been made.  This story gets worse.  They called her and told her that her ring was ready for pick up, then wouldn't give it to her and went even further when they stuck the proverbial dagger into her stomach and twisted it.

What makes this story even more controversial, however, is what the retailer said it would and wouldn’t do with the class ring once it had been made.(and paid for - I smell a breach of contract lawsuit coming.)

When asked what they were going to do with her ring now - get a load of the crappy answer.  Twist of the knife, anyone?

If Walmart is going to insist on not selling the Confederate flags, for fear of offending black people and appearing racist, or at best ignorant of history, then they had better stop selling white sheets, fried chicken, watermelon and the Electric Slide.

Walmart, Once Committed to "Made in the USA," Succumbs to Liberal Logic

Remember back in the day, when Walmart was taking over the world, in the early 80s and 90s - decades after its inception? Sam Walton was proud to be the first store to "commit to stock his store with American made products?" My how the mighty fallen.  I am done with Walmart, after they refuse to stop supporting race-baiting, "what do we want, dead cops" cop-hating and war-on-cop in sighting Al Sharpton and how far they've shifted to the Liberally illogical left.

So, now they won't sell a Senior JROTC High School student a class ring, because of his high school mascot with the Bars and Stars on it, because it's "racists?" However, they will create and sell Christian Beheading terrorist sympathizing ISIS cakes?

We spent more years in slavery under the Red White and Blue flag than we ever did under the Stars and Bars (a short 4 years).  We don't see national outcry for a ban of Democrats and white sheets, because of what the KKK (Democrats) covered in cotton sheets, now do we?

A West Morgan High School graduate is caught in the middle of the ongoing Confederate flag controversy. He simply wanted a class ring depicting his school’s “rebel” mascot.

“That picture is just so teeny tiny, we didn`t recognize no rebel flag there. We just wanted his school mascot on the ring,” said Brenda. “There was nothing racist, nothing about the rebel flag.”  Read more WHNT

You see, there's a reason some people go to Walmart to order their class ring, they can't afford to go to a high-priced jeweler to order it.  What really fries my butt is, as Christians are being forced, threatened, publicly shamed and even bullied into make gay wedding cakes.

God-forbid Walmart, a national retailer, should have to order a Rebel class ring, that was so small you couldn't even distinguish the flag unless it was under a magnifier, for this JROTC high school student or make a Bars and Stars Confederate flag for someone else.  Oh, but they will make an ISIS terrorist cake for anyone who asksIsis, the organization who beheads Christians, and this is politically acceptable to Walmart?

Thank God I live in a free Country where I am free to spend my money, or choose not spend my money, in a store that would then turn around and give it to a man like Al Sharpton or a store that would misconstrue history, as liberals love to do, and freely sympathizes with ISIS, the group that hates the Country and the faith I love.  Maybe the gays could go to Walmart for their cakes, since Walmart seems to openly side with the group that hates Christians.

Walmart suddenly, without any notice, closes five stores in four states. Co-incidence? You be the judge.

By Rob Janicki
Stranger things have happened in this world, but this one may not be all that it is being portrayed to be by Walmart and I'm not condemning Walmart either.

Wal-Mart suddenly closed five stores in four states on Monday for alleged plumbing problems.

The closures could last up to six months and affect roughly 2,200 workers in Texas, California, Oklahoma, and Florida, CNN Money reports.

What makes this interesting, and raises the age old argument that there are no co-incidences in life, is that these five stores just happen to be stores where employees were active in holding Black Friday protests in 2012 for purposes of unionizing Walmart.  So, if you believe in co-incidences, the five stores probably did have plumbing problems arise all at the same time.  However, if you are cynical and question the possibility of multiple chain co-incidences then you may just have a hard time with Walmart's explanation of plumbing problems and other as yet unknown problems that may or may not be affecting these five Walmart stores.

Now, to be fair, I believe Walmart has every right to close any of their stores for any reason or no reason at all.  It is, after all, a corporation that must look out for the best interests of its owners in the form of shareholders, many of which are ordinary people with 401K retirement funds that are invested in Walmart stock, whether they work for Walmart or any other business.  That's just the way corporate ownership is constituted.  Anyone who has the money can buy into and become shareholders of any public corporation they are interested in and it then becomes the job of the corporate governance to run the business in the best interest of the owners.

Now this is just wild speculation on my part, but I'm thinking there is more to this story than mere maintenance practices on the part of Walmart.  I'm thinking there just may be an ulterior motive on Walmart's part.  Perhaps Walmart is sending some of its employees a message, that being, if you really don't like the working conditions at Walmart, including their wage structure, employee benefits, and advancement opportunities within Walmart management, then just maybe Walmart is not the place to be.

Walmart pays more than comparable businesses and has better employee relations than most comparable unionized   businesses.  Yet there are some Walmart employees that want to portray Walmart as some evil giant that must be regulated and brought to it knees through unionization and all that implies.  Is Walmart to stand idly by as outside union organizers enlist Walmart employees to do their dirty work?  Let's not forget that all is fair in love and union wars, so let's see how this war plays out.  I don't know about you, but I'm curious as Hell.

Read more on these five Walmart store closing at Business Insider and decide for yourself Walmart's motivation and their absolute right to close stores, or at least shut them down temporarily, for whatever reason.
