Proof Trump Supporters Don't Read

Jim Hoft, aka The Gateway Pundit, has been a rather loud Trump supporter. The majority of his election 2016 stories promote Trump or negate criticism about the frontrunner. That is his choice and he is using his voice to sway voters to his opinion which is well within his right as an American.

While he and I do not agree as to whom would be the best GOP nominee, I respect him for investigating sensational stories and trying to promote the truth his research discovers. However, many of his followers simply don't read:

This Trump supporter loves promoting a link to one of Hoft's latest blog posts; unfortunately, he didn't actually read the story. The breaking news is not that the National Enquirer claims that Ted Cruz has had several mistresses. According to The Gateway Pundit, the story is the fact that this claim is total bull crap - even the title gives a huge clue about the content: "BREAKING: Woman Identified as Ted Cruz 'Mistress' in National Enquirer Says It's 'Not True." 

Twitter lit up today with conversation about the scandal including the rumblings about the women involved.

Tonight I reached out to one of the suspected “mistresses.”
Here is her response:

It’s ridiculous. Anyone with half a brain knows it’s false… I don’t think the article is true. I can’t see Cruz being like that… All I know is it’s not me. There’s a reason they don’t use my name. They know it’s BS.

National Enquirer hit a homerun with Democrat John Edwards’s love child. They may have struck out on this one.

Thank you, Jim, for proving that not all Trump supporters are blind zombies.
