Donald Trump has won the hearts and loyalty of millions of Americans by boldly declaring that he is self funding his bid for the White House. Even some of us who don't appreciate his progressive leanings have to admit that he has been rather genius at capturing media attention but are skeptical, wondering if this is simply part of his money buying him a narrative.
After each of the GOP debates, Trump has declared himself the winner, citing online polls. The tactic is rather clever. There simply is no way to prove who votes in an online poll or how many times one actually votes. And high poll numbers after a debate allow Trump to brag that he's the winner, citing data to back his claim.
