Obama's own words are coming back to haunt him. In making the argument that he would be a dedicated commander in chief, he said the job requirements meant his need for sleep, family time, vacations and leisure time would go away. It was a sacrifice/trade off one seeking the office would have to make:
Obama: "uh umm, you give me this office and in turn my, fears, doubts, insecurities, foibles, need for sleep, family life, vacations, leisure is gone. I am giving my self to you."
The facts don't back up Barack's rhetoric. He and his family have bilked the American taxpayer for ten of millions of dollars to pay for lavish vacations. This charge has been leveled before, to which first family supporters say "BUSH," pointing out that G.W. took more vacation days than the current freeloader in chief. However, days off at a personal ranch do not equate jet setting around the globe on the taxpayer's dime.
Thanks to a lawsuit brought by Judicial Watch, the American people have a better idea of how the first family is spending vacation time and dollars. At a time when the majority of Americans are pinching pennies and making every dollar stretch to survive in a dismal economy where opportunity has been diminished yet cost of living increased to spread the wealth around, this display of excess is sickening:
