Does Marco Rubio Have a New Challenge?

by Kim D.

Twitter chatter produces quite a bit of interesting rumors:

Reviewing the source, Chuck Johnson (the ginger blogger permanently banned from Twitter) of GotNews claims he's got the goods on the Rubio affair and is simply waiting for the most effective time to unleash:
One of the bigger non-reveals reveals is that Rubio likes to sleep around. This is well known in Tallahassee and even D.C. circles but I guess now everyone else is talking about it.
No one has ever vetted Rubio. That’s why I’ve sent out private eyes to investigate his past.
We’ve looked into the bribe he was paid through disgraced congressman David Rivera (who is currently under FBI investigation), the rest of the credit cards (no, not his personal ones, the other ones under his control–the ones he traveled with the girls with), the in-laws connection to organized crime, among many others. I even have the entire oppo file from the Scott Walker campaign.
I’ll have more to reveal on Rubio as we get closer to the material being relevant. Why publish now? It’s not like he’s rising in the polls. Why not wait until the debates or until the January caucus?
However, someone appears to be trying to beat Johnson to the punch:
I suppose the initial reaction would be to blame Team Jeb! for this oppo research smear, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Hillary's caustic fingers all over this. After all, liberals claim her toughest challenge to overcome would be Rubio:
There is a striking finding in the new NBC/Wall Street Journal pollMarco Rubio is tied with Hillary Clinton among young voters. Given the importance of Barack Obama’s overwhelming margins among young voters to his two victories — and, more broadly, given that Democrats are betting the future of the party on their rising coalition of young voters and minorities — this is something Democrats should probably start paying attention to right now.
However, this may be just one more episode of kabuki theater and yet another distraction to end 2015. Click here for more speculation of the down n dirty details.
