The words of the tentative settlement with Iran were hardly out of President Obama's mouth, when Iran took exception to just about everything announced by our Boy Wonder in the White House on Thursday afternoon. Iran's chief negotiator didn't mince words when he asserted that the Amateur Negotiator in Chief lied, not merely misspoke, but actually lied to Congress and the American people on the elements of the tentative agreement between Iran and the allies.
LAUSANNE, Switzerland — Just hours after the announcement of what the United States characterized as a historic agreement with Iran over its nuclear program, the country’s leading negotiator lashed out at the Obama administration for lying about the details of a tentative framework.
Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif accused the Obama administration of misleading the American people and Congress in a fact sheet it released following the culmination of negotiations with the Islamic Republic.
Zarif bragged in an earlier press conference with reporters that the United States had tentatively agreed to let it continue the enrichment of uranium, the key component in a nuclear bomb, as well as key nuclear research.
Zarif additionally said Iran would have all nuclear-related sanctions lifted once a final deal is signed and that the country would not be forced to shut down any of its currently operating nuclear installations.
I must admit that listening to and believing what President Obama said, would be welcomed by all his acolytes and sycophants. Unfortunately, what really counts is what Iran will actually do as outlined in this tentative lead up to a possible final deal by June 30, 2015.
Frankly, President Obama's feel good announcement was purely political propaganda for the local yokels and his diehard band of terminally disordered radical followers. I fully expect that what, if anything, is seen by June 30th, will have no striking similarity to what was said by President Obama and Secretary Kerry on Thursday.

Again, I do not expect that anything will be settled in the negotiations supposedly ending by the end of June. That's not the path or timeline that Iran is on. Their goal is to develop a nuclear weapon, plain and simple, as a means and a device for international blackmail. Obfuscation and prevarication are their tools and the means to their ends. Stalling and stonewalling are their operational tactics.
Iran's game plan is to string along the West in this supposed negotiation process in order for Iran to continue advancement in their development program leading toward a nuclear weapon. Iran only needs one nuclear weapon to be a scourge to be reckoned with in the Middle East. Meanwhile President Obama parses words in describing what Iran will do and will not do, as he takes words and phrases out of context from the negotiations.
Let's not forget the close relationship Iran has with North Korea, a rogue regime that developed a nuclear weapons capability under the Clinton administration. Expect Iran to buy and receive nuclear technology from North Korea, just as they have purchased missile technology from North Korea, which is a cash strapped nation and desperately needs foreign revenue to exist.
One might see "deja vu all over again" with the Obama administration and their attempts to forestall another rogue nation, Iran, attempting to develop nuclear weapons capability. It seems to be a "thing" with liberal administrations to talk a lot, without much success in the final analysis.
