It's been almost two years since Paula Deen saw her illustrious career as a celebrity chef fizzle out due to admitting she had used the "N" word during a deposition for a trial in which she was being sued by a former employee with the charges of sexual harassment and use of racial slurs. The backlash for her political incorrectness was fast and furious and led to the loss of her cooking show on the Food Network.
Perhaps Deen is counting on America's short attention span or the wearisome divisive rhetoric which has lately desensitized many on race relations issues. Whatever the reason, Paula is gearing up for a comeback. Adding to her Paula Deen Network, soon she will be releasing daily podcast tips on Get Cooking with Paula Deen, a 30-minute weekly podcast, What's Cooking with Paula Deen, and a new cookbook, Paula Deen Cuts the Fat.
But the largest spotlight and test for the Queen of Butter will be the debut of her new show tomorrow on Evine:
During multiple live shows, Paula will offer an exclusive assortment of food and pantry items for purchase, including her Signature Ham, Ooey Gooey Butter Cake mix, sugar-free chocolates, cooking-essential spices and rubs. Paula will also present a limited number of signed cookbooks and other exclusive products only available at EVINE Live.
