by Kim D.
I'd truly love to know how many people are paying attention to the warnings and the overt protective measures being initiated in anticipation of an ISIS-style attack on American soil on the 4th of July. Megyn Kelly interviewed Rep. Pete King about this subject Wednesday night.
King's excitable and inartful response set off WTF and WTH alarm bells to anyone listening live or watching from a YouTube clip. What most of the clips do not show is his response to her "Did you say nuclear" question. He followed up with an affirmative that a dirty bomb explosion is of great concern in NY city. These kinds of comments are gold to the conspiracy theorists who are constantly on the lookout for red flags.
While our hopes and prayers are for everyone to be able to enjoy the festivities without incident, basic common sense should apply. No matter where you are tomorrow evening, be aware and prepared. Godspeed.

When Conservative and Progressive Politics Meet - Cruz Vs. Couric
by Kim D.
This is a great example of the elitist, progressive media in action. When Couric tries to drum in the notion that the Constitution is a living document, you know she is a Progressive. When she puts forth the idea that equality trumps religious freedom in regard to the recent Supreme Court ruling on same-sex marriage, she reveals her personal agenda.
Check out her smug look and crossing of arms when Cruz discusses the "birther issue"(around minute 26). Is Couric really that programmed that she doesn't know the Hillary camp started the Obama birther scandal during the 2008 Democratic primary race?

The "Killing Fields" in Baltimore continue as murders skyrocket out of control.
By Rob Janicki
The meteoric rise in murders in Baltimore can be correlated with the
the death of Freddie Gray while in police custody on April 19, 2015.
Riots took over Baltimore almost immediately after Gray's untimely
death a week later from injuries still not completely understood even
with recently leaked autopsy details. Meanwhile, six BPD officers are
under indictment for numerous crimes related to Freddie Gray's death.
It's now being confirmed that line police officers were told not to
actively engage rioters in the riots that followed the Freddie Gray
event. As a result to this order from the very top of law enforcement
and the mayor, those with criminal intent felt free to commit the most
heinous of crimes, murder.
The rise in murders could be looked at from several different
perspectives. One perspective is thought to be "pay back" among
individuals with grudges against others. With police backing off,
these people may have felt that they could get away with the most
egregious crime of all. They seem to be continuing in this mode.
Next, common street thugs are using the opportunity to commit lesser
crimes of armed robbery, burglary and general mayhem, using murder as
the ultimate means to hide their acton if necessary. There seems to
be a feeling that murder will simply not result in any consequences
for the perpetrators and thus, any inhibitions about the use of murder
as a means to effectuate a criminal activity, seem to be reduced.
The thin veneer of humanity seems to have worn through for the younger
black men in Baltimore as liberals continue to make excuses for their
behavior and use various means to actually justify their behavior.
Meanwhile victims seem to be characterized by liberals as somehow
being responsible for their own fate. The latest liberal assault on
reason and logic is based upon a dreamed up fiction of "white
privilege". Considering there are more poor whites than blacks in
America, this is ludicrous on its face, but that has never stopped a
liberal from another lie to promote liberal progressive policies and
programs.
Don't expect the murder rate in Baltimore to suddenly decline. It
simply won't happen with the advent of a hot summer and the fact that
the Baltimore Police Department doesn't quite seem to have its act
together on how to recover control of the city.
Those governing Baltimore did the unforgivable act of condoning the
behavior of criminal rioting and looting done in the name of
protesting the death of Freddie Gray while using "black lives matter"
and "no justice, no peace" as their mantra to justify their criminal
behavior.
The mayor and police commissioner will have to figure out how to
reverse this ghetto mind set among those most likely to take advantage
of murder as a means of settling a score or as a means of covering up
a criminal act. It won't be easy, especially if the mayor and police
commissioner wind up facing criminal charges for their behavior in the
criminal rioting that they appear to have condoned last April.
Here's a look at the statistics for murders in Baltimore from January
1st through June 30th.

First Bush Socks, Now Elephant Ties?
by Kim D.
First the GOP was trying to sell us George H.W. Bush socks. Now it's an elephant tie? The party that doesn't like to be seen as that of old, white, men sure do have a funny way of selecting overpriced merchandise for its supporters.
Now for the low, low price of $45 buckaroos, we can all wear an elephant tie proudly. For a limited time, you can get the Official Republican Elephant Tie exclusively from the GOP Store. Featuring the official Republican icon, the elephant, these ties are available in blue, green and purple. There are only a limited number of ties produced — so get yours before they run out.

It's Drink O'Clock: Bitch (Remastered/Extended Version)
I like this remastered/extended version of Bitch even more than I do the original version the Stones recorded in 1971.
Some good news and some bad news for Democrats.
By Rob Janicki
Democrat demographic numbers have been on the rise with women and a
host of minority groups, too numerous to list. That increase in those
demographics swinging to the political left is the good news for
Democrats. They worked hard to create government entitlements to buy
these groups and their votes for generations to come and they have
been very successful at buying those potential votes. The meteoric
growth in the numbers of people added to the rolls of food stamp
participants is just one example of Democrats success in buying votes.
Those receiving food stamps are hardly going to vote against their own
self interest and vote for someone that may restrict their access to
government giving away billions of dollars. So much for Democrat good
news.
The bad news for Democrats is that current enthusiasm within these
groups is not exactly setting off fireworks for the 2016 presidential
election and that has to be a serious concern for Democrats and
Hillary Clinton in particular. Supporters of Democrats have to get
out and vote to be meaningful to candidates. Cheering crowds mean
nothing unless that enthusiasm translates to bodies showing up and
voting the Democrat ticket on November 8, 2016.
We know that Hillary will be the Democratic presidential nominee when
all is said and done. Bernie Sanders, a self identified socialist, is
simply too radical for Americans. Democrats don't have a candidate
bench with anyone on deck capable of waging a national campaign.
Martin O'Malley, Jim Webb and Lincoln Chaffee are virtual unknowns
outside the Democratic hardcore political circle and have no chance to
win the Democratic presidential nomination. Vice President Joe Biden
is a known commodity, but voters are not apt to vote for someone who
has proven time and again that he is one bubble off the mark of
normal.
All this is not to say that Bernie Sanders cannot have an influence on
the Democratic nomination process. Sanders is appealing to Democrat
voters with a populist type of campaign, attacking the rich, appealing
to every imaginable minority and setting them against the Republican
right as the party of the rich. Sanders' campaigning is basic radical
liberal claptrap using tactics right out of the Saul Alinsky book,
"Rules for Radicals". Nothing new here. Play people and groups
against each other and pick up all those voters who feel
disenfranchised and powerless against forces they cannot understand or
overcome.
Sanders seems to be co-opting the hard core leftists of the party and
peeling away Hillary supporters in his campaign, to date. This has to
be causing Hillary concern, since it has the potential of drawing
Hillary into a fight within the party, thus consuming her time and
energy from being directed at the top rung of Republican contenders
that she will face up close and personally. A prolonged fight between
Sanders and Hillary will only tend to alienate and dull the enthusiasm
effect of Democrats in general and, with the current lack of
enthusiasm, could make it very difficult for Hillary to win in
November 2016, which would be a victory for America.
Watch polling on Democrat voter enthusiasm going forward. This
polling may be the most telling indicator of whether Hillary will win
in the 2016 general election or fall flat like she did in the 2008
Democratic presidential primary against Barack Obama.
