One of my business partners
sent me a link
to an article about Apple Music and James Pinkstone's experience with
Apple destroying and stealing his personal property. Inspired by that story,
and connecting a few other dots to it while foretelling the future, I wrote a blog about it and tweeted it out.
My business partner DM'd a
heads up about this rotten Apple story as told by James and written about by me
to Brian
S. Hall, a well-known technology reporter who famously had an
article booted from a Forbes site when he told the truth about a
particular subject that was contrary to what they said. Brian then
investigated and wrote his own article. Read it here.
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how
information spreads at the grassroots level and how it is becoming increasingly
harder for large corporations to blind us to their manipulative ways. Technology
exists to serve.
Startup
technology companies should do well to remember that. There's nothing wrong with
turning a profit, but profit at the expense of your customers' private property
is crossing the line.
Stop it.
