Hey Heb #Bush - The Hispanic Community is Listening

Earlier this week Jeb Bush made news when in 2009 he listed himself as Hispanic on his Florida voter registration. One simple tweet acknowledged this action as a mistake.

However, what he doesn't realize (or maybe he does and simply doesn't care) is that many Americans of Hispanic origin were offended.  I have a friend who is Hispanic and doesn't really pay attention to politics unless it has to do with health care or amnesty, two issues which personally affect her and her family. This morning she asked me, "Did you hear about Jeb Bush saying he was Hispanic? That's bull."

I grinned and said, "Yeah, he's no Ted Cruz." To which she said, "What about Ted Cruz?" Sigh . . . .
