What Would #TedCruz or #DonaldTrump Do on Day #1 in the White House?

Lase week voting began in the Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund. If you didn't vote in Round 1, you still can have a voice in helping decide whom the Team Party Patriots will endorse in the Republican primary race. Round 2 begins this week and there is still time to register - click here.

This site also provides good information on each viable Republican candidate via voting records and stances on issues as collected by the Conservative Review. In addition, as a part of the Round 1 voting, each candidate was surveyed and asked his or her views about issues that are important to conservative voters (i.e. term limits, Common Core, Obamacare, budget/tax, and immigration).

One of the more interesting questions was "What will you do on day 1 of your presidency after being sworn into office?" Below are some of the responses from those currently leading in the Republican primary race:

Ted Cruz:

1. Rescind every single illegal and unconstitutional executive action taken by this president. 2. Instruct the United States Department of Justice to open an investigation into Planned Parenthood and these horrible videos. And to prosecute any and all criminal conduct by that organization. 3. Inform the Department of Justice and the IRS and every other federal agency that the persecution of religious liberty ends today. 4. Rip to shreds this catastrophic Iranian nuclear deal. 5. Begin the process of moving the American embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, the once and eternal capital of Israel.

Donald Trump:

Sign a repeal of Obamacare. Issue orders to the Department of Justice and Department of Homeland Security to begin the process of securing our borders and ports, identifying criminal aliens. Issue an executive order that puts a freeze on regulation implementation until all are reviewed. Stay EPA and IRS rule changes. Meet with Congressional Leaders to outline expectations for legislation. Call Middle East, European and Asian leaders to open dialogue on mutual cooperation. Meet with staff to outline the work agenda for the first 100 days of the administration. Hold first meeting with Joint Chiefs. Enjoy the inauguration galas and embrace my family, thanking them for their work and sacrifice in the effort to win the election and to serve the people of the United States.

Marco Rubio:

”On Day 1 of my presidency, I will waste no time in getting to work undoing the damage President Barack Obama has done during his time in office. I will immediately rescind every single one of his illegal executive orders. I will cancel all of the EPA’s recent power grabs. I will direct federal agencies to stop any and all work being done to impose Common Core, and I will reinstate the Mexico City Policy to end the taxpayer funding of abortions overseas. I will call for a convention of states to pass a balanced budget amendment, and impose term limits on Congress and the Supreme Court. And, on my first day in office, I will cancel Barack Obama’s deal with Iran. “
