I'm thinking Kerry is more mentally disordered than disturbed. Has he been sleep walking for the past 18 months in his negotiations with Iran? Has he not seen and heard the Supreme Leader in Iran calling for Death to America, the Great Satan? To be fair, the Supreme Leader has also called for Death to Israel, the Little Satan.
Has Kerry not seen the multitudinous demonstrations throughout Iran with protestors also calling for Death to America and Israel? Protests such as these do not occur in Iran unless they are crafted, created or at least condoned and encouraged by the ruling Mullahs in Teheran.
The greater question is why Kerry believes Iran has been reined in. Iran will have 100's of billions of their dollar deposits in banks around the world released for their use as they see fit. Those analysts that know the details of this disastrous deal, indicate the U.S. gets virtually nothing substantive in return, while Iran will be able to continue to supply their surrogate terrorist groups around the Middle East with weapons to destabilize a region already reeling in chaotic terrorism.
Obama and Kerry couldn't even get the release of three Americans known to be held by Iran on trumped up charges and information on another American missing in Iran for seven years. What mystifies this American is why the Obama administration has chosen to put its tail between its legs and accept whatever Iran has served up. That would, however, be consistent with Obama's special skill set of leading from behind.
Simply blowing up Iran's bathtub Navy in the Persian Gulf would have sent a serious message that America is not to be trifled with. This could have been accomplished in a matter of hours with virtually no collateral damage to civilians, while destroying the myth once and for all that Iran has some kind of a superior naval presence in the Persian Gulf. It would be just another war game with live fire that our naval and air forces could use for practice.
Of course this could never happen since Obama wouldn't lift a finger to order any such direct action on an enemy that has caused the deaths of countless Americans around the world. Obama's recurring liberal wet dream is that Iran will come around to accepting that America really is sincere in striving to achieve peace in our time with Iran.
Make no mistake. Iran is the enemy of the United States, which has the clear capability of destroying Iran's economy with or without limited military action. And yet the Obama administration has been treating Iran as if it is an equal. Winners dictate the peace. Losers accept what is given them. You figure out which side won and which side has actually created a more dangerous world by its inaction to face reality.
