The firestorm over the particularly horrifying Planned Parenthood practice of performing abortions with the benefits of harvesting fetal body parts for sale has spread rather quickly. Presidential hopeful Governor Bobby Jindal of Louisiana was one of the first to denounce the recently released video which reveals the horrors at the heart of this controversy and call for an investigation of the non-profit organization:
"Today's video of a Planned Parenthood official discussing the systematic harvesting and trafficking of human body parts is shocking and gruesome. This same organization is seeking to open an abortion clinic in New Orleans. I have instructed Louisiana's Department of Health and Hospitals to conduct an immediate investigation into this alleged evil and illegal activity and to not issue any licenses until this investigation is complete. I am also asking the FBI to assist DHH in investigating this alleged criminal activity by this organization."Texas Governor Greg Abbott quickly followed suit:
I already sued Planned Parenthood for Medicaid Fraud. Now Texas will look into these organ harvesting claims. http://t.co/V5YxR20bsk

Now Ohio's Attorney General Mike DeWine is in hot pursuit:“The video showing Planned Parenthood’s senior director of medical services calmly discussing the best way to kill an unborn child in order to preserve the condition of the baby’s internal organs is truly horrifying. Any person or abortion clinic involved in such a practice described in the video may have violated specific state or federal laws.
“Because registered non-profit corporations operate three Planned Parenthood abortion facilities in Ohio, those entities and the directors have a fiduciary duty under Ohio law to ensure their organization does not support illegal activity. My office’s Charitable Law Section is conducting an investigation to ensure that no Ohio non-profit is breaking the law or profiting from the sale of aborted babies. I encourage anyone with information about this potential illegal activity to contact my office or their local law enforcement agency.”According to Planned Parenthood and other baby killing champions, fetal tissue is only obtained with a woman's consent and used only for research - i.e. they didn't do nuthin' wrong.
Planned Parenthood receives over $400 million dollars annually from U.S. taxpayers. Write your Congress critters and tell them to stop funding this ghoulish murder mill.
