This debate thing is sorta, kinda almost being reigned in. Fox
Business Network announced the candidates that made the cut for their Nov. 10th
Republican debate on Thursday. There were a few shake ups as the primetime
stage was downsized from 10 to 8 candidates.
The Small Fry debate will include:
Gov. Chris Christie, Gov. Mike Huckabee, Sen. Rick Santorum,
and Gov. Bobby Jindal
The Bigger Better Boy debate spotlights:
Donald Trump, Dr. Ben Carson, Sen. Marco Rubio, Sen. Ted
Cruz, Gov. Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorina, Gov. John Kasich, and Sen. Rand Paul
Kicked to the curb in the bitter cold:
Sen. Lindsey Graham, Gov. George Pataki, and Gov. Jim
Gilmore (who?)
C’mon guys. You had your fun. With this many people in the
race, if you are polling at less than 2.5% consistently, a year out from the
election…it’s about time to throw in the towel. Do your donors, your families,
and yourselves a favor and go home. Enjoy the holidays. Clear the way so we can really focus on important things like Rubio’s credit card use, Trump’s
tweeting habits, Fiorina’s facial expressions, and Carson’s pyramid theories.
Don’t make us utilize Rubio’s skill of taking people
out of the game. Bow out already.
