The Abortion Barbie Myth Continues with New TV Series

She's back, ya'll (and so are the parody accounts) as the story Davis used to portray herself as a poor, struggling young mother and junior high dropout from a trailer park continues. At least that's the rumor that is swirling about a new dramedy NBC is developing based on the life of former Texas Senator Wendy Davis. According to Deadline Hollywood,
the untitled project centers on a female Democratic senator who, after losing the Texas governor’s race, gets her world turned upside down. In the vein of The Good Wife, while she pieces her pride back together, she goes to work in the law firm of her best friend — a black male Republican — and discovers that with no political future to protect, she can unshackle her inner badass.
Abortion supporters will be sure to tune in to see the "badass" Davis-like character champion women's baby killin' rights. The rest of America may take a pass if this proves to be the focus of the new series. We'll have to wait and see. In the meantime, in anticipation of the series' TV title, some made suggestions for NBC to consider:
