Remember these Republican senators: Lamar Alexander (TN), Bill Cassidy (LA), Thad Cochran (MS), Susan Collins (ME), John Cornyn (TX), Orin Hatch (UT), and Mitch McConnel (KY). None will be running for reelection in 2016 but all just voted with their Democrat counterparts to confirm Dr. John King as Secretary of the Department of Education.
Michelle Malkin explains why King is just as bad and probably even worse than the former education secretary, Arne Duncan:
The senators listed above are hoping people forget how they voted on this critical issue. They are hearing the screams from the electorate tired of this crap in Washington, yet continue to force upon us the worst of the worst.
Here is a little insight on Dr. King and his educational experience:
In New York, King became known as one of the most polarizing figures in education, clashing frequently with parents and teachers over his efforts to introduce new policies — including new teacher evaluations and new Common Core standards and tests — that the Obama administration was pushing nationwide.Sound likes just what our kids need more of - failed politicians pushing disastrous policies.
