Obama foreign policy: Talk loudly and carry a very small stick never to be used.

By Rob Janicki

President Obama has sent a carrier group to meet an Iranian naval flotilla sailing from the Persian Gulf into the Arabian Sea on its way to the coast of Yemen.  Ostensibly the Iranian flotilla is moving toward Yemen to resupply its surrogate terrorist group, the Houthis in their battle with the local remnants of the Yemen military not already defeated or in disarray.

It is now reported that the U.S. carrier group fronted by the carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt is now in visual distance to surveil the Iranian flotilla.  What is Obama's plan?  Is it to further embarrass the U.S. Navy as the Iranian flotilla sails right past our Navy ships while symbolically flipping the bird to our sailors and Marines?

Once again, our Idiot in Chief has made a military move without the planning or resolve to do anything if his bluff is called by the Iranians, as it most certainly will be.  This is a tactic doomed to failure, but then again, Obama has no effective strategy in dealing with Iran on any level on any subject area as proven by history.

It boggles the mind to imagine that Obama can continue to "give away the farm" to Iran in negotiations to get Iran to stop their nuclear development program, which is just a cover to develop a nuclear weapon to use on Israel and to hold Europe hostage to their ultimate nuclear threat.

Why is Obama negotiating with Iran on anything?  Considering Iran is the world's largest purveyor of terrorism throughout the Middle East, what happened to the United States position on refusing to negotiate with terrorists?  Everything Iran is doing is co-ordinated to lead to Iran's hegemony over the Middle East.  Meanwhile, everything the Obama administration does leads to a capitulation to Iran, thus strengthening Iran, while weakening America and, by association, our allies in the region.

Mark my words, while Iran continues to support terrorism in Yemen, our U.S. Navy will do absolutely nothing to interdict Iran's resupply of the Houthis.  Confrontation of a Muslim nation is simply not part of any Obama strategic planning.  Capitulation to our enemies, however, seems to be an active tactic of the Obama administration.
